Sign of the Times

Not sure about you but over the last year in a half or so, I have never heard so many people use the term WTF! And, I don't mean via text message.. People are speaking it loud and clear in the middle of parks, malls, and restaurants to express their frustration/anger for the things that are going on around us. Where to begin? We are in a world where gas is damn near five dollars a gallon. As soon as I was able to wrap my mind around that concept I began trying to digest the idea of getting a second job just to fill my tank up each week. You would think our "loving" (I say that in a sarcastic, practically disgusted, tone of voice) Government would devise a plan to provide some type of helping hand to aid all of the overworked and underpaid tax paying citizens across the U.S. who are struggling. But no, they just continue to sit on their asses, have meetings and lead us to believe they give a shit and are on our side. In my eyes, there is practically no middle class. And that is where I grew up at, comfortably in the middle class. Now that it's almost extinct, where does that leave me and countless others? Oh I know where that puts us, in a compromising position, living from paycheck to paycheck and hoping for the best. And if it doesn't leave us there then I guess the appropriate term would be SOL. I use such a generic term so loosely because that is how the Government approaches us, in a generic and very loose fashion.

This blog could go on forever.. but here is where I need to stop.. these are my thoughts for now...
